They were testing it near Nurburgring from what I can see it looks good.

Is it me or does it look just like the current car? Isn't this supposed to be a new fresh platform?

Yup, looks like a Camaro.
The wheelbase and overhangs seem to have shrunk while the windows seem about the same size.

It's now on the Alpha platform shared with the ats and cts so it will be much better the the outgoing one.

I see the same car, with a Trans-Am-like front end, and tri-bar taillights on the rear....
But it still looks the exact same as the current one.

Hopefully they can make visibility better but it's looking like they did nothing about it, could be wrong.

It is looking the same but, some of the panels could be fake like on the miata spy shots from a wile back.

The ND Miata mules looked like odd sized NCs.

Doesn't look like visibility will be much better. The shorter wheelbase kinda accentuates how high the beltline is.
The hood seems to have a bit more of a downward slope to it so it might be a bit easier to see the front of the car but otherwise should be a pretty similar lack of visibility to the current car.

That's what I figured would be the case.

WTF is this, 2003 Pontiac? Get that shitty divider out of there.

New platform. It looks smaller, less overhangs, shorter front and rear, different front and rear fascias. I really like what I'm seeing so far, looks like a good evolution of the current car

It really hasn't changed much since 2010. The 2015 got a facelift with a new front fascia and taillights.

It looks the same. Why does it look the same. The added lightness of the new platform should be nice by why does it look the same?
